Concept and Theme

Michelle is an optimist; she uses her body language and meditative mind to help express her thoughts. She loves to use a myriad of colours to create a multitude of paintings for each of her exhibitions. Michelle’s first exhibition entitled “Desire of the Colourful Life” expressed her thoughts through imagery of flowers. Michelle wishes to use her works to inspire more women to be strong in order to achieve their dreams.

Michelle’s painting style is inspired by Monet’s impressionism; she uses colour and light to show the images’ true element without detail. Her subjects are painted with a blurred vision using colourful brush strokes to show that they are alive and vibrant.

Being a woman, Michelle believes she understands women’s wants and desires. Through her paintings she wishes to bring true feeling to those who appreciate art. Michelle enjoys diarising her feelings and thoughts of what she sees and experiences and she firmly believes this assists expressing her spiritual energy onto canvas. Michelle differentiates and creates her own painting style by promoting a bright, colourful and elegant atmosphere. Michelle wishes to fulfill her future goals by retaining a creative painting style using fresh vibrant colours creating pleasurable feelings for those viewing her work.
